Anne T. Moretti, 88, of Barrington

Anne T. Moretti, age 88, passed away Saturday, Feb. 25, 2017. She was the wife of the late Joseph Moretti to whom she was married for 53 years.

Born in Barrington, a daughter of the late John and Francesca (Bafaro) Cuzzone, she was a long-time resident of Barrington.

She is survived by a niece, Ann Wells; nephew, John Cuzzone and great-nephew, Mark Viera. She was the sister of the late Angelo Cuzzone.

Visitation was on Wednesday, March 1, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in Wilbur-Romano Funeral Home, 615 Main St., Warren followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in Holy Angels Parish, 341 Maple Ave., Barrington. Burial in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence. Contributions may be made in her honor to Warren Skilled Nursing, Activities Department, 642 Metacom Ave., Warren, RI 02885.

A lifelong Portsmouth resident, Jim graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1982 and earned a journalism degree from the University of Rhode Island in 1986. He's worked two different stints at East Bay Newspapers, for a total of 18 years with the company so far. When not running all over town bringing you the news from Portsmouth, Jim listens to lots and lots and lots of music, watches obscure silent films from the '20s and usually has three books going at once. He also loves to cook crazy New Orleans dishes for his wife of 25 years, Michelle, and their two sons, Jake and Max.
