Barrington police arrested Alexander Moustafa, 25, of Glocester, on a warrant issued from Third Division District Court.

On Friday, Sept. 2, an officer reportedly saw Mr. Moustafa stumbling in the parking lot outside Shaw's Supermarket.

The officer approached Mr. Moustafa, who reportedly smelled of alcohol. Mr. Moustafa allegedly told police he had been on Block Island drinking and had an active warrant. The warrant was confirmed.

Mr. Moustafa then asked if he could smoke a cigarette before he was handcuffed, and police obliged.
