To the editor:
When Jan Malik was beaten by Jason Knight in the recent primary his comment was that he was pleased to be leaving the “dirty” political game so he could spend more time with his family. Now his write-in campaign is about the “satisfaction” HE gets from public service. As Scott McKay of WRNI wrote, politicians like Jan Malik are all in favor of democracy and the “will of the people,” until they are not.
Twenty years in office is more than enough, Jason Knight is more than capable of representing both Warren and Barrington and has pledged to do so. Please reject Jan Malik’s cynical write-in campaign.
