Barrington shut out Newport 9-0 in an elimination bracket game on Tuesday night, and is scheduled to play against Rumford in the elimination bracket finals on Friday.
Barrington's Otis Crosby pitched five innings without allowing a single hit by Newport, and Lucas Tanous came in to pitch the sixth inning and also did not allow a single hit.
