The Barrington 9-10 Minors All Star team's run through the District 2 tournament came to an end on Friday night in Rumford.

Playing in the elimination bracket finals, Barrington trailed early, came back to tie the game but then fell behind again, losing 9-6 to Rumford. Barrington had won four straight games after losing its tournament opener to Riverside.

Last Tuesday, Barrington shut out Newport 9-0 in an elimination bracket game.
