Driver says jogger dented his car

Barrington Police are investigating a situation that occurred near the high school on Wednesday, Sept. 7.

A man was jogging on Lincoln Avenue by the school when a vehicle was pulling out of a parking lot there.

According to police, the jogger was upset that the vehicle pulled out in front of him, so he slammed his hands onto the car. The driver of the car then proceeded to follow the jogger, yelling at him and videotaping him, police said.

Officers spoke with both parties involved. Police did not charge anyone. Police observed a small dent in the vehicle.
