Woman says her neighbor has taken her parking spot

Posted

A Lincoln Avenue resident contacted Barrington police on Monday, May 28, regarding a dispute with a neighbor.

The resident told police she had been parking her vehicle on the road for the past 33 years, but a neighbor had recently started parking his vehicle in the same spot.

The woman told police she had asked the man to stop parking in the spot, but he refused. It also alleged that the man's father had thrown the woman's trash can into her yard.

Police are investigating.
