Barrington Police responded to Barrington High School at about 10:15 a.m. on Friday, March 15, after a male student collapsed and was unresponsive.
Police and EMTs learned that the boy had taken some "Sativa" and did not feel well. He then dropped to the floor.
The boy later told police that he purchased the "Sativa" liquid from another student at the school and when officials approached that student he vehemently denied the accusation.
A subsequent search revealed that the suspect had a Juul in his possession but no "Sativa."
