A team of Barrington High School students competed in this year's High School Quiz Show competition recently.

Students Daniel Sheinberg, Christina Curran, Clara Kugler, Jonny Zhang and Sam Wohlever represented Barrington. The team was coached by Barrington High School educators Bob Marley and Sam Schachter.

Results from the competition will be disclosed in the spring when Rhode Island PBS airs the seven High School Quiz Show episodes.

Barrington was one of eight teams selected to compete for this year's championship. Barrington joined teams from Bishop Hendricken, Chariho, Classical, East Greenwich, LaSalle Academy, Mount Saint Charles, and Saint Raphael Academy.

Joe Short served as this year's host to the quiz show.

Last year, Barrington won the High School Quiz Show: Rhode Island championship. This year's state champion will participate in the High School Quiz Show Invitational playoff at WGBH in Boston. The state champions from Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Maine, and New Hampshire will complete in a four team bracket in January.
