Basketball teams take home BYBA championships

League celebrates inaugural season for rec. division

The Barrington Youth Basketball Association recently crowned its recreational league champions. 

Tenacious D, coached by Todd St. Onge and Anna Slaybaugh, won the championship in the Girls Grade 3-4 division. Savage Storm captured the title in the Girls Grade 5-6 division. Andy Ochiltree coached Savage Storm.

In the Boys Grade 3-4 division, Stealers, coached by Zeke Fortin and Kate Berard, won the championship. Brick Squad brought home the championship trophy in the Boys Grade 5-6 division. Derick Daley coached Brick Squad.

And Coaches Mitchell Ivatts and Spencer Proulx led the Bulls to the championship in the Boys Grade 7-8 division.

This was the first year BYBA expanded its program to include a full recreational league.
