Charlotte S. Sneddon, 97, formerly of Barrington

Charlotte S. Sneddon, 97, of Cumberland and formerly of Barrington, passed away Thursday, March 8, 2018 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center surrounded by her loving family.

She was the wife of the late Thomas M. Sneddon to whom she was married for 54 years.

Born in Norfolk, Mass., she was a daughter of the late Burleigh and Ada (Smalliey) Scammon. 

Mrs. Sneddon was a secretary for Brown University before retiring. She was an Elder at the Barrington Presbyterian Church and a member of the Barrington Garden Club.

She leaves one daughter, Donna Zilch and her husband Bob of North Attleborough, three grandchildren, Laura Bouley, Christy and James Zilch, one great-granddaughter, Lily Bouley and many nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held on Friday, March 16, at 9 a.m. from the Perry-McStay Funeral Home, 2555 Pawtucket Ave., East Providence with a service to follow at 10 in the Barrington Presbyterian Church, County Road, Barrington. Burial will be in Forest Chapel Cemetery, Barrington. Calling hours are Thursday from 4 to 8.
