A Grinch on the loose?

On Saturday, Dec. 12, a Lincoln Avenue resident in Barrington called police to report stolen Christmas lights.

The resident said her dogs had been barking the night before, but she did not think much of it. The next morning when she went outside she discovered that two strands of multi-colored Christmas lights were missing and the other strands had been disturbed. The resident said she did not have any ongoing feuds with anyone, and could not imagine who would steal two strands of Christmas lights.

Also, on Lincoln Avenue last week, a resident reported stolen ladles. The resident had arranged the sale of some ladles, but someone allegedly took the ladles from the front of the home before the buyer arrived. The ladles were valued at $30.
