Rep. Hearn endorses Liana Cassar; firefighters endorse John Chung

Joy Hearn, the current representative for District 66, has endorsed Liana Cassar in the race for the District 66 seat.

"I am pleased to be endorsing Liana Cassar for District 66 State Representative, because she is the candidate who will continue the fight for open and honest government against powerful insiders at the State House," Rep. Hearn wrote in her endorsement letter.

"She will fight for much needed ethical reforms, high quality public schools, common-sense solutions to ending gun violence, and protections for women’s reproductive freedom."

John Chung, the Democratic who will square off against Ms. Cassar for the District 66 Rhode Island House seat representing Barrington and Riverside, has received the endorsement of the Rhode Island State Association of Fire Fighters (RISAFF). The RISAFF represents the firefighters of East Providence and Barrington.
