Barrington capped its regular season with a 65-61 win over Prout during a Senior Night celebration on Monday.
Mike Coogan, one of the celebrated seniors for the Eagles, scored a game-high 29 points, including 11 from the free throw line. William Rywolt knocked down three 3-pointers and finished the game with 17 points, while Ben Silvia added six.
The win improved Barrington's Division II record to 12-6, and moved the Eagles into sixth place in the standings.
The boys basketball playoffs will begin later this week — the postseason kicks off with division tournaments and is followed by the state's open tournament.
Last week, Barrington grabbed a big win over one of the league-leaders, topping Middletown 72-49 on Friday, Feb. 9.
Barrington had four players finish in double-figures — Silvia with 21 points, Deven Connors with 12, Rywolt with 11 and Coogan with 10. Ben Batting also dropped in eight points.
The Eagles also crushed the winless Quakers 62-35 on Wednesday, Feb. 7.
