The Barrington High School girls' track team picked up four wins on Monday, defeating East Providence (117-13), Shea (150-0), Tolman (148-2), and Mt. Hope (128-22).

Barrington's 4x100 and 4x400 relay teams both won. The Eagles' 4x100 team of Erin Abbott, Olivia Middleton, Noelle Cooke and Alexis Maknerich ran a 52.9, while the 4x400 team of Kate Zitzmann, Noelle Cooke, Julia Howarth and Abigail Walter clocked a 4:27.0. 

Teá Bishop won the 3,000, and Middleton won the 200. Zitzmann won a pair of events — the 800 and the 1,500. Howarth was tops in the 400, and Jillian Walter won the 100 meter race. Elizabeth Grover won the triple jump and Claire Grover won the high jump. 

Annika Kelly won a pair of events — she threw the hammer a meet-best 154 feet, 11 inches, and she was tops in the discus with a throw of 97 feet, 3 inches. Faith Polando won the shot put with a distance of 27 feet, 7.5 inches, and Elizabeth Eden won the pole vault, clearing 6 feet, 6 inches. 

Boys' track

The Eagles ran past four teams on Monday. Barrington defeated East Providence 108-41, Mt. Hope 116-22, Tolman 133-2 and Shea 110-28.

Jack Dunn won a pair of field events for Barrington, capturing first place in the discus and the hammer throw, while Dominic Portelli won the pole vault. Josh Meranda won the triple jump, the 110-meter high hurdles and the 300-meter intermediate hurdles for Barrington. Mars Bishop was fastest in the 1,500 and in the 800, and George Wicker won the 400-meter race. Barrington's Hayden Ivatts won the 3,000-meter race and also ran the first leg of the Eagles' first place 4x400 relay team. Running with Ivatts in the relay were Wicker, Sam Read and Eliot Laidlaw.
