Escobar's Maize Maze open for 18th season

The popular Portsmouth labyrinth, the largest maze in
Rhode Island, will once again get curious maze-goers lost
when it opens to the public on September 1. Though the
correct pathways can be walked in under 30 minutes, most
directionally-challenged visitors will require about one
hour to travel through more than two miles of twists and
turns, 2 bridges and 85 decision points.

WHERE: Escobar Farm, 255 Middle Rd., Portsmouth
WHEN: Opening Friday, Sept. 1. Opening hours are
Fridays at 4 p.m., Saturdays at 10 a.m., and Sundays at 11
a.m. Closes daily at dusk.
COST: $8 for ages 12 and up, $6 for ages 5-11, and free
for kids under 5
