Police investigate breaking and entering on Sowams Road

Barrington police are investigating a break-in at a Sowams Road home that occurred on Thursday, June 29. 

The Sowams Road resident told police she left her home for a short period of time that morning and when she returned she realized that someone had entered the home and stolen a number of items. The resident said a laptop computer, jewelry and cash were stolen.

It was not clear whether there was any sign of forced entry into the Sowams Road home. Police said the resident called the station to report the incident at about 11:30 a.m.
