Letter: Hats off to the vaccination volunteers

To the editor:

The COVID crisis has brought bad news to many of us with information that is often in contradiction as to what we as citizens should be following such as whether or not to wear a mask. Trying to sign up for a vaccine on the various web-sites has created frustration due to limited registration openings, but there is some good news. In recent weeks, senior citizens in Barrington have been able to schedule a time for a vaccination at the Senior Center. I met the criteria and was confirmed for a slot. I want to take the opportunity to express my appreciation for having a vaccination site in town and for the ease in registering. I want to commend the volunteers and staff at the site for their professionalism and the seamless registration and vaccination process. Hats off to their effort, and thank you for your help in this health crisis.
