Letter: Thank you so much, Barrington Police and Fire

To the editor:

On Sunday, Sept. 27, my husband had a freak accident on our boat in the Barrington River partially amputating his finger tip. After a very expedient phone call to 911, we were connected to the Barrington Police and Fire. By the time we arrived at the dock at Barrington Yacht Club three rescue EMT’s were coming down the dock. They quickly assessed the situation and asked all the right questions to stabilize his condition and whisk him off to RI Hospital trauma center.

It is with gratitude and relief that such speedy medical attention can be experienced in this time of uncertainty. We thank the gentlemen who took care of my husband, and the town of Barrington who support our Police and Fire Department.
