Margaret G. (D’Angelo) Gaudiano, age 108, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2018 in Grace Barker Nursing Center, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Pasco “Pat” Gaudiano.
Born in Raven Run, Pa., a daughter of the late Carlo and Catherine (Renauro) D’Angelo, she resided in Hazelton, Pa. until moving to Barrington in 1987 and later to Warren where she resided for over 20 years.
She was a communicant of Holy Angels Church and prior to her retirement she was seamstress. She loved her family and adored her grandchildren. She loved to cook, sew, travel and was very social. Margaret was a professional designer of drapery, and created her own patterns and clothing. She was also a volunteer at the Tap-In and the Barrington Senior Center.
Margaret is survived by her children, Antonio Gaudiano and his wife Claire of California, Catherine Alteri and her husband Nicholas of Barrington, and George Gaudiano and his wife Mary Ann of Pennsylvania; daughter- in-law, Judy Gaudiano of Massachusetts; 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was the mother of the late Carl Gaudiano and sister of one brother and four sisters.
Her funeral Mass was held on Saturday, Feb. 10, at Holy Angels Church, 341 Maple Ave., Barrington, RI 02806. Visitation was on Friday from Wilbur-Romano Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers contributions in Margaret’s name may be made to: Holy Angels Church, 341 Maple Avenue, Barrington, RI 02806.
