Mary F. Kelleher, formerly of Barrington

Mary F. (Neilan) Kelleher, formerly of Barrington, passed away Friday, Jan. 12, 2018. She was the wife of the late Honorable Thomas F. Kelleher. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late James J. and Mary T. Neilan.  

She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing and her master’s degree from Rhode Island College. She worked as an associate professor of nursing at the Community College of Rhode Island until her retirement.  

Mary was a communicant at St. Luke’s Parish in Barrington.

She was the loving mother of John F. Kelleher and his wife Katherine Cavedon of North Attleboro, Mass., James N. Kelleher and his wife Gina of Barrington, Ann K. Ackerman and her husband James of Barrington and the late Kathryn M. Wechseler. She was grandmother to Matthew, Michael, Thomas and Jack Kelleher and Grace and Julie Ackerman.
