Barrington police arrested Joseph Ray Green, 33, of East Providence, on a warrant or capias from Superior Court.

Officers had responded to the CVS Pharmacy in the Barrington Shopping Center for a man who appeared to be under the influence of a controlled substance. The man said he was a diabetic and had low blood sugar.

EMTs helped the man, but when police officers checked his ID, they discovered he was wanted on five arrest warrants, ranging from breaking and entering to shoplifting. Police then arrested Mr. Green.
