Multiple shops and restaurants obtain no trespass orders against man

Barrington Police responded to a Barrington restaurant early Friday morning, Oct. 28, for a report of a man harassing an employee.

Police said the suspect is a homeless man that has been frequenting local shops and restaurants and allegedly harassing workers.

Police issued a no trespass order to the man for the Barrington restaurant. In fact, this was the third or fourth local restaurant to request a no trespass order against the man, police said.

Barrington Police Chief Michael Correia said the department is working with a homeless advocacy group in an effort to find the man somewhere to stay.
