Motion detectors trigger alarm at Primrose Hill School

Posted

Barrington Police officers responded to Primrose Hill School at about 1:05 p.m. on Sunday, July 16, after multiple motion detection alarms were triggered inside the building.

Officers checked the school but could not find anyone. Police also checked the perimeter of the building and located a broken window — there was glass on the ground and someone had left behind a screwdriver and socket wrenches.

Police went back inside and conducted a second check of the building but could not find anyone. Police said nothing had been disturbed inside the classroom with the broken window.

Police notified the school department’s director of facilities about the broken window.
