Was it a parent venting frustrations or were they threats?

Barrington police are investigating possible threats made by a local resident against a Barrington High School teacher last week. A high school administrator reported the situation to the police on June 6.

Police said a teacher at the school approached administrators after receiving a few emails from the parent of a student. The parent allegedly referenced her son's grades and may have threatened to assault the teacher.

Police are still investigating.
