Rose Ann DiPierro, 92, of Barrington

Rose Ann (Paolella) DiPierro, age 92, passed away Friday, Feb. 9, 2018 at Grace Barker Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late John F. DiPierro.

Born in Barrington, a daughter of the late Stefano Paolella and the late Josephine (Jiacovelli) Paolella, she was a longtime resident of Barrington.

An assembler at Rhode Island Laceworks for over 20 years, she was also the receptionist for Barrington Senior Center for 10 years. A communicant of Holy Angels Church she was also a Eucharistic Minister and a member of their Women’s Guild. Skilled at knitting she made hats for new born babies and blankets for cancer patients.  She loved to cook for her family and looked forward to hosting friends and family to watch the Feast of the Assumption parade from Holy Angels.

She is survived by her children, Roseann Longo and her husband Carl of Providence, Robin Paulino and her husband Frank of Bristol and John F. DiPierro, Jr. of Barrington; grandchildren, Tracy A. Guerra, Christopher J. DiPierro, Alison G. Harris, Aaron P. Barboza and Brandon F. Paulino and two great-grandchildren, C.J. and Zoe.
