On Nov. 17, the nonprofit agency Tap-In (Touch A Person In Need) will provide the makings of a Thanksgiving dinner to 350 East Bay families.

Each family will receive canned vegetables (corn, green beans, yams/sweet potatoes), canned fruit, stuffing mix, boxed mashed potatoes, canned gravy, cranberry sauce, brownie mix, and a turkey pan. Each family will also receive a grocery store gift card to cover the cost of a turkey and other perishables.

Tap-In officials are looking for people to help donate food items and money to help with the Thanksgiving event. Please bring donated items to Tap-In by Tuesday, Nov. 13. Tap-In, which is located on the basement floor of the public library building, is open weekdays from 9 a.m. to noon.
