Thomas E. Stamoulis, age 84, of Henry Drive, Barrington, died Monday, Aug. 28, 2017 at home with his loving family by his side. He was the husband of Sandy (Cocaine) Stamoulis. Born in Haverhill, Mass., he was the son of the late Evangelo and Fotene (Rangou) Stamoulis.

Tom was an enthusiastically beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend. He was married to his loving bride Sandy for 55 amazing years. Sandy’s unfailing devotion at Tom’s side over the past 15 years during his illness was an inspiration to us all. Tom showed unquestioned integrity and loyalty, and enduring compassion and love, to all who were fortunate enough to know him. He served in the US Army, contributed to the US Navy throughout his 36-year career as a leader of engineers at Raytheon, and was committed to the US Armed Forces overall. He was a true patriot and he loved his country.

Tom enjoyed golf and travelling worldwide. He cherished every moment with his family and never missed their sporting events or a chance to introduce friends to Greek brandy, Metaxa.

In addition to his beloved wife, he is survived by his children; Dr. Mark Stamoulis and his wife Dr. Doreen Wiggins of Portsmouth, Elena Stamoulis and her partner Robin Cochran of Arlington, Va., Dr. Dean Stamoulis and his wife Ashley Stamoulis of Atlanta, Ga., 12 grandchildren and his 2 cousins Nikiforos Stamoulis and Helen Stamoulis both of Worcester, Mass. He was the brother of the late Louis Stamoulis.

His funeral will begin on Wednesday at 9:45 a.m. from the Rebello Funeral Home and Crematory, 901 Broadway, East Providence, RI. A Divine Liturgy of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m. in the Assumption of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church, 97 Walcott St. Pawtucket, RI. Burial will be at Prince’s Hill Cemetery, Barrington. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 29, from 5 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Thomas’s memory may be made to Lifespan Cancer Institute at Rhode Island Hospital, Box H, Providence, RI 02903. www.rebellofuneralhome.com
