Majors Division team defeats Tiverton 6-1 in District II finals

Two Barrington Little League All-Star teams advanced to states after wlnning District II championships on Sunday night, July 15.

Barrington's 12U Majors Division team defeated Tiverton 6-1 in the District II finals, while Barrington's 10U Majors Division team defeated Middletown 11-1. Both games were played in Barrington — the 12U game was at Sherwood Field, while the 10U game was at Chianese.

Barrington's 12U Majors Division team will play the winner of District 4. That game is scheduled for Saturday, July 21, at 7 p.m. at Slater Park in Pawtucket.

A third Barrington All-Star team — the Juniors Division team — will play in the District II finals on Monday night, July 16, against Pineview.

Barrington's 11U Majors Division team lost to King Philip, 2-1, in their District II finals on Saturday night.
