Barrington Police are investigating a vandalism incident that occurred in town on Wednesday, Oct. 26.

A caller told police that someone had spray-painted messages on the community bulletin board near the Barrington Shopping Center and across a historical sign located along the East Bay Bike Path.

One spray-painted message read “Stop brainwashing our youth” and the other read “Our children aren’t robots.” Police documented the incident.
