Police investigating incidents at Barrington Cove Apartments

For the second straight week, Barrington Police were called to Barrington Cove Apartments after residents' cars were vandalized.

Police said it appeared that someone had keyed the cars while they were parked outside the building. One incident was reported on Tuesday, May 7; a second was reported on May 8, a third incident on May 9; and a fourth on May 10. Last week's incidents followed nine damaged vehicles the week prior.

On Monday, May 13, police were back at Barrington Cove Apartments for yet another incident. The officer spoke with the victim and the victim's neighbor, who said she had heard multiple people outside her window laughing and talking at about 9 or 9:30 on Sunday night.

Police are asking anyone with information about this case to call the station at 437-3930.
