A former Mt. Hope High School student who died in a tragic murder-suicide last week will be remembered during a candlelight vigil Sunday evening on the Bristol Town Common.
Claire Randall, who was valedictorian of the 2008 Mt. Hope class, was killed Dec. 8 at the family’s home in Hebron, Maine. Her father, Daniel Randall, reportedly shot Ms. Randall before turning the gun on himself.
The Mt. Hope faculty and alumni organized the vigil and is encouraging the public to attend on the Town Common at 7 p.m. Sunday.
