Needing to complete a two game sweep of Rumford, the Barrington bats came alive in the forth inning.
Down 2-0, Barrington exploded with everyone contributing to the fourth inning rally. JC Niemeyer crushed a fastball deep to left for an RBI double that changed the momentum of the game.
The hits kept coming, including a bases loaded single by Bennett Durkin and a line-drive RBI double by Tom Rocha.
Nolan Fletcher settled down on the mound and pitched very well for the win. He was helped by solid defense led by Josh Leadem and Aaron Brady, and a spectacular catch in right field by Noah Mincone.
The team will move on to the state tournament starting Saturday night.
