Bristol arrests: Multiple domestic violence, DUI charges

The Bristol Police Department made the following arrests this week:

Jenna M. Cleary, 24, of 286 Wood St., Apt. 2, Bristol, was charged with domestic vandalism May 9.

Evan R. Veguilla, 60, of 66 Joyce St., Apt. 21, Warren, was charged with driving under the influence and refusal to submit to a chemical test after being pulled over on Metacom Avenue just before 2 p.m. May 10.

Alicia M. Costa, 43, of Woodlawn Avenue in Bristol, was charged with domestic assault, domestic disorderly conduct, domestic vandalism, possession of narcotics, driving under the influence, driving in possession of a controlled substance and refusal to submit to a chemical test. Ms. Costa was arrested on Woodlawn Avenue after a panic alarm sounded and police were called for a family disturbance around 3:30 p.m. May 10.

Dario P. Melo, 26, of 259 Waterman Ave., Apt. 2, East Providence, was charged with domestic assault and domestic disorderly conduct after police were called to Roosevelt Avenue just before 10:30 p.m. May 12 for reports of a verbal argument that apparently escalated.

Kyle William Kettner, 20, of 39 Caswell Ave., Newport, was charged with violating a protective order May 13.

George E. Adams, 48, of 12 Fernwood Road, Bristol, was charged with two counts of domestic assault. The victim was brought to Rhode Island Hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in the alleged assault.
