Charles Lee Remington, 70, passed away at home in Mililani, HI, on May 26, 2017. He was the husband of Yoko Nishizawa Remington for 47 years.

Charlie was born in Riverside, Calif., but grew up in Bristol. He was the son of the late William G. and Anastasia K. Remington. After he graduated from Bristol High School in 1965, he pursued a career in the United States Air Force, from which he retired as Captain in 1986.

After his retirement, he was actively involved in The Hawaii Youth Soccer Organization, and the United States Soccer Federation of Referees, and was on the Mililani Neighborhood Board for more than 20 years.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his three sons, Donny (Kris) of Mililani, HI, Bobby (Jolie) of Dubai, UAE, and Charles, Jr. (Lisa) of Huntington Beach, Calif.; and four grandchildren. He was the brother of Diane Carlson (David) of Brewster, Mass., Elizabeth Harlow (Richard) of Bristol, Frederick Remington (Donna) of Kapolei, HI, and Grace Remington of Bristol.

A Memorial Service will be held in Hawaii on June 30, and a Mass will be offered in his memory on July 20 at St. Mary’s Church in Bristol.
