Eva Andrade, 88, of Bristol

Mrs. Eva (Ferreira) Andrade, age 88, of Greenway Drive, Bristol, died Thursday, Aug. 31, 2017, at Newport Hospital. Born in Bristol, and a lifelong Bristol County resident, she was a daughter of the late Abilio and Maria (Silvia) Ferreira.

A homemaker, she was a communicant of St. Elizabeth’s Church. Eva leaves behind her three children: Barbara J. DePina (Robert Thurber) and Susan Andrade, both of Bristol, and Jeffrey C. Andrade (Pamela) of Punta Gorda, Fla.; three grandchildren, Kim DePina, Jeffrey Christopher Andrade (Melissa) and Holly Cabral (Robert); four great-grandchildren, Valerie, Christopher, Chelsea and Ryan Cabral, and two great-great-grandchildren, Tyson and Rowan Campion.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers Abilio, Thomas, Paul, Frank, John and Alfred Ferreira, and sisters Mary Martin and Beatrice King Silvia.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, Sept. 18, at 11 a.m. in St. Elizabeth’s Church, 577 Wood St., Bristol.

Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Disease Association, RI Chapter, 245 Waterman St., Suite 306, Providence, RI  02906 or online at www.alz.org.
