Filomena Fatima Botelho, 63, Bristol

Filomena Fatima (Sousa) Botelho, 63, of Rosedale Drive, passed away on March 22, 2017 at Warren Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of Jaime Resendes Botelho, her husband of 44 years.  

Born in Lajes, Terceira, she was the daughter of the late Francisco and Filomena (Ferreira) Sousa. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Michelle DeMello and her husband Michael, Mary Ann Terra and her husband Danny, and Kevin Botelho and his wife Elena; and grandchildren Alex DeMello, James DeMello, Jayden Terra, Nylah Terra, Adriana Botelho and Lucas Botelho. She was the sister of Francisco A. Sousa and Marie Cabral.

Mrs. Botelho attended school in Portugal and Tennessee. She was a machine operator at I. Shalom before retiring. After her retirement, she enjoyed traveling with her husband, crocheting and spending time her beloved grandchildren.  

The family would like to thank all of her caregivers from St.Elizabeth Manor and Warren Skilled Nursing for their kindness and dedication.

Her funeral services will be held Monday, March 27, 10 a.m., from the George Lima Funeral Home, 367 High St., with a Mass of Christian Burial, 11 a.m., at St. Elizabeth’s Church,
577 Wood St. Burial will follow in North Burial Ground, Bristol. Calling hours are Sunday, 2-6 p.m.
