Huskies strike first, win game one in Division III finals

Mt. Hope captain Ryan Cordeiro and Jack Dolan each scored a pair of goals to lead the Huskies over Pilgrim 5-4 in game one of the Division III state championship at Brown's Meehan Auditorium on Saturday. Cordeiro and Dolan scored once each in the first period and again in the second. Dylan Andrade also scored in the second period giving the Huskies a 5-4 lead heading. The teams skated a scoreless third to end the game.

Kyle Depoy had 25 saves for the Huskies.

Next up:

Game two is Sunday at Meehan Auditorium at 4 p.m.
