Letter: Bristol must improve recycling to reduce costs

Posted

In the spring of this year, my father and I had the privilege of visiting Washington, DC, to view the monuments and all thew city has to offer. This was only possible through the generosity of many organizations, including the VFWs of Bristol and Portsmouth, Bristol Elks Lodge No. 1860, the Fraternal Order of Police and many individual contributions.

We understand members of these organizations ask for no accolades, but we need to express our gratitude and appreciation for allowing us to experience this extraordinary visit. These organizations are so generous with their time, and focus on serving the community while working tirelessly for veterans. It is an honor to be associated with them and the inspiring work they do every day.

To experience this together was a gift, and we will forever hold these memories dear. Special thanks to Karl Antonevich for all his guidance.
