Letter: Friends of Historic Bristol see good days ahead

Posted

We are encouraged with the spirited discussion we had with the Bristol Town Council during its Jan. 16 meeting. Clearly there is a commitment to revitalize our economy, not just in the historic downtown but throughout Bristol.

Friends of Historic Bristol is bringing nationally recognized speakers to town in the coming months to help all of us understand how to grow sustainable businesses, add jobs, build our tax base, in other words, help Bristol be an even better place to live and work for all of us.

We’re ready to partner with any and all to bring these plans to fruition.

Let us begin!

E. Keith Maloney
Bristol

Mr. Maloney is chairman of Friends of Historic Bristol.
