Letter: It has been an honor and privilege to serve Bristol

It has been an honor and privilege to have been given the opportunity to serve as your Councilman. At this time, I am announcing that I will not seek re-election to the Bristol Town Council.

My time serving this great community has brought me joy and many blessings. During each of my campaigns, I consistently pledged my commitment to being the voice of the resident. This difficult decision has been made after careful thought and reflection.

Due to a recent personal obligation requiring my time, I am unable to seek another term and unwilling to compromise my work ethic.

As I leave my current role, please understand that I will continue to contribute and support our prosperous town. It is with the most sincere gratitude that I thank my family, friends, colleagues and supporters for their words of encouragement and confidence throughout the years.

As your Councilman, I have been proud to have proposed many initiatives that have benefited our community. Initiatives such as the creation of an Economic Development Coordinator, Road Improvement Program, soon to be Landfill Solar Array, Metacom Avenue  Center Turning Lane Pilot Program, and potential RIPTA Ferry Service into town.

I could have not accomplished any of these projects without working in bipartisan collaboration with past and present colleagues. It is with the utmost respect and pride that I view our progress working together always improving the quality of life here in our community.
