Masqueraders to stage ‘Bye Bye Birdie’

What happens when a 1950's rock star comes to a small town in Ohio to kiss one of his biggest fans before being drafted into the Army? That's the premise of the classic rock musical comedy ‘Bye Bye Birdie,” which will be staged by the Mt. Hope Masqueraders this Thursday through Sunday at Mt. Hope High School. Performances are at 7 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, May 11-13 and Sunday, May 14 at 2 p.m. Tickets will be sold at the door and are $15 for general admission and $10 for students and seniors.
