Patricia Green (Marshall), 75, passed away peacefully Sunday, Feb., 26, 2017. She was the wife of Raymond W. Green Sr., to whom she was married 56 years.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Charles and the late Margaret (Marine) Marshall, she was a longtime resident of Bristol and Clearwater, Fla.
A graduate of Colt High School, she was the first female cook at the Veterans Home in Bristol for 15 years until retiring in 1988. A dedicated volunteer for the Food Bank in East Providence, she was also very supportive of the Special Olympics. She was a member of the Red Hats Society in Rhode Island and Florida, the Holy Rosary Society at St. Elizabeth’s and the Sewing Circle at Kickemuit Village. She enjoyed traveling to many places in their RV.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, Roy Charles Green of Clearwater, Fla.; daughter Susan Green of Bristol; brothers Michael and Charlie Marshall; grandchildren Bryan Green and Sara, Kaitlin and Danielle Castilloux; and great-grandson, Jack Kettner. She was the mother of the late Raymond W. Green, Jr. and sister of the late Francis Whalon and Peggy Marshall.
Her visitation will be Friday, March 10, 2017, 8:30 – 10:30 a.m. in the Wilbur-Romano Funeral Home, 615 Main St., Warren, followed by a funeral Mass at 11 a.m. in St. Elizabeth’s Church, 577 Wood St., Bristol. Burial in North Burial Ground, Bristol.
