A 17-year-old Bristol girl stopped by the Barrington Police Station on Tuesday, Sept. 26 to report an incident that occurred at an automated car wash on County Road.

The girl told police she was going through the car wash in her Jeep when the vehicle's door was suddenly pulled open.

The girl said she was injured by the cleaning mechanism as she tried to close the car door. She also said the vehicle's door was damaged during the incident.

Police have contacted store management about the car wash.
