PORTSMOUTH — A local woman was charged with disorderly conduct Saturday night, July 22, after arguing with neighbors who had objected to fireworks being discharged from her Island Park home, police said.

Police responded to the home of Samantha Sandoval, 43, of 154 Ormerod Ave., around 11 p.m. after receiving a report of fireworks being set off illegally. When police arrived, three men near the Island Park playground told police that Ms. Sandoval and a man she was with were discharging fireworks. 

The three men went to her residence to tell them to stop when Ms. Sandoval became irate and cursed at them to get off her property, they told police. One of the men said his daughter is mentally challenged and the loud noise causes her to become unstable, police said. 

According to two of the men, the fireworks had been discharged from the Sandoval home over the previous four days. Ms. Sandoval appeared intoxicated and cursed at officers, according to police.

Wednesday, July 19

Alison M. Sanfilippo, 25, of 80 Cove St., was charged around 12:40 a.m. with domestic assault. Police said Ms. Sanfilippo pushed a local woman who was trying to stop an argument she was having with a 27-year-old Massachusetts man.

Tayla R. Arsenault, 18, of 940 Hathaway Lane, Uxbridge, Mass., was charged at 7:25 p.m. with domestic assault. Police responded to the parking lot of St. Barnabas Church for a report of a man and woman fighting. According to police, Ms. Arsenault struck the man during an argument over his messaging other women on SnapChat. A fake Maryland driver’s license that was in her possession was confiscated, police said.

Friday, July 21

Amanda M. Antinucci, 45, of 67 Slater Ave., Apt. 8, Providence, was charged with driving with a suspended license at about 10:40 a.m. A Prudence Island public safety officer pulled Mr. Antinucci over on Narragansett Avenue after observing three juveniles riding on the tailgate of his pickup truck, police said.

Saturday, July 22

Members of the Portsmouth Fire Department extinguished a car fire at the corner of West Main Road and Donna Drive shortly before 4 p.m. The owner told police had had parked the vehicle on Donna Drive when its engine caught fire.

Kelly D. Richardson, 35, of 385 Middle Road, was charged at about 9:20 p.m. with domestic disorderly conduct and domestic vandalism, with malicious injury to property resulting. Police responded to Ms. Richardson’s home after receiving a report of a domestic disturbance in progress. According to police, Ms. Richardson argued with her roommate before bringing several of her own plates and cups outside and smashing them against the residence. She also flipped over a pot containing a tomato plant, police were told. 

Sunday, July 23

Patrick H. Doyle, 24, of 13 Salem Trail, Narragansett, was charged at 1:15 a.m. with domestic vandalism with malicious injury to property resulting. Shortly before midnight, police responded to a Park Avenue home for a report of a domestic disturbance. A woman there told police that Mr. Doyle had broken several doors in the residence during an argument and wanted him removed from the property, police said. According to police, Mr. Doyle punched a bedroom door and the front door, damaging both. 

Constance M. Cone, 50, of 76 President Ave., was charged around 7:30 p.m. with domestic assault. According to police, Ms. Cone shoved a 49-year-old Massachusetts man during an argument at her home. 

Monday, July 24

Victor J. Watson, 46, of 33 Pine Tree Road, was charged at 6:10 p.m. on a felony Superior Court bench warrant for violating the terms of his parole, according to police. Three officers with knowledge of the warrant arrested Mr. Watson at his home.
