Rose L. Ramos, 87, of Bristol

Rose L. (Madeiro) Ramos, 87, of Bristol died Saturday, March 16, 2019, at Warren Skilled Nursing and Rehab. She was the wife of the late Henry Ramos.

Rose was born in Bristol, a daughter of the late Joseph and Carmella (Arone) Madeiro.

She was a waitress for many years at Hope Creamery, Howard Johnson’s and Bickfords, before retiring.

Mrs. Ramos has lived all of her life in Bristol, and was a member of the Radiant Christian Church of Warren, where she was active in the Frontline Ministry for Freedom, the Right Hand Ministry and the Manna Ministry.

She also enjoyed crocheting.

Mrs. Ramos is survived by daughters Rebecca Madeiro and David Hanos of Bristol, and Gail and Mark DeVine of Bristol.

Rose was the grandmother of Joshua Gabriel DeVine and his wife Elizabeth, and the great-grandmother of Zachary Gabriel DeVine.

She was the sister of the late John Madeiro Jr., Joseph Madeiro Jr., Roy Madeiro and Mary Benevides.

Her funeral will be held Thursday at 9:30 a.m. from the SMITH FUNERAL and MEMORIAL SERVICE, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren, followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. in the Radiant Christian Church, 895 Main St., Warren, R.I.

Burial will follow in North Burial Ground, Hope Street, Bristol.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling hours are Thursday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
