Battle of the bands will benefit mission trip

BARRINGTON — The Barrington Congregational Church high school youth group will host a battle of the bands on Saturday, Nov. 7 from 7 to 10 p.m.
The event will serve as a fund-raiser for an April 2010 mission trip to Brenton, W. Va. Tickets for the battle of the bands are $5 each and the event is open to the public.

The church will also hold a pasta dinner on Sunday, Nov. 15 to benefit the mission trip. Tickets for the pasta dinner are $8 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under.
