Save energy = save money = save jobs

To the editor:
I am writing to voice my support for the upcoming Seekonk Town Meeting warrant article that asks the town to pursue the goal of attaining Green Community status. The Seekonk Planning board fully supports the Green Communities act and is putting forth two bylaw changes at the Nov. 30 Town Meeting as first steps in this process. Using the criteria of the G.C. Act helped Andover save $700,000 last year in energy costs. Saving on energy costs means more money for town needs = saving jobs.
