Joyce N. Hall, 69, resident of East Providence, formerly of Barrington, passed away on Friday, Oct. 28, 2016. Born in Alexandra, Va., she was the daughter of the late Philip and Janet (Cameron) Hall. Joyce was the mother of Kathryn L. Hall and devoted grandmother to three grandchildren, Christopher, Patrick, and Matthew Hall, all of Barrington. Joyce was the beloved sister of Janet H. Christ, also of Barrington and the aunt to Cammie Gregory, Andrew Christ and Nicholas Christ.

Joyce was employed at the Miriam Hospital for 37 years and had a huge work family. Joyce loved summer vacations in Maine and caring for her beloved dogs and cats. She always put others before herself and will be truly missed. Joyce's generosity was felt by many.

There will be a memorial service for Joyce on Thursday, Nov. 17 at 11 a.m. in St.Johns’s Episcopal Church, 191 County Road, Barrington RI  02806. In lieu of flowers, the family would ask you to make memorial donations in Joyce's memory to Hasbro Children's Hospital, 593 Eddy Street, Providence, RI 02903.
