Martin, Riverside teams tip off 2019 Unified Basketball League season

EAST PROVIDENCE — The Martin and Riverside Middle School Unified Basketball League teams met at the start of the 2019 season Friday afternoon, March 15.
MMS team members include: Ethan Medeiros, Jayden Delgado, Emmalee Roy-Lachance, AJ Silva, Shane Lavin, Michael Foley, Isaiah Brown, Yaniaha Jones, Dominique Avellar, Brett Nadrowski, Denzel Sivels, Alex Vieira, PJ Kochen and Ben Nascimento.
"We are excited to get the season started,” said MMS head coach Mia Millea. “I have already seen so much hard work and dedication this season from our team. I cannot wait to see them on the court.”
RMS team members are: Jesse Clark, Isabel Tavares, Kloey Iacavone, Joseph Santana, Ben Nunez, Angelo Rodriguez, Jayden Amaral, Seth Garrett, Tyler McLaughlin, Marin Besette, Stephen Bruni, Jacob DaPonte, Thomas Newman, Dylan Couto, Jayden Cabral, Marquis DaRosa and Darius Davis.
“We have had a good turnout as far as interest goes,” said RMS head coach Brandyn Chace. “I have lots of help from students who want to be a part of the team and adults who are so helpful. We are looking forward to a great season.”
